Seabrook Crisps are a Made in Yorkshire Bronze Member
Based in Bradford, Yorkshire Seabrook Crisps have been manufacturing potato crisps for over 70 years for the UK market. Previously a family owned business, it was bought by private equity in July 2015 who have invested to further grow the business. Seabrook supplies all the major UK retailers across Grocery, Convenience, Impulse, Cash and Carry and Food Service. Seabrook crisps provides a range of crisps to the UK market with a 3% market share and household penetration of 27%. Seabrook is a well-loved heritage brand and famous for its strong flavour and great crunch. It has consistently outperformed the UK market since the current management team turned the business around in 2013.
Seabrook Crisps has a history of innovation, they were the first Crinkle cut crisp in the UK, the first to use sunflower oil, the first to remove MSG from the full range. Seabrook were the first to make their whole range Gluten Free and Vegetarian friendly and the first to launch a peel, share and re-sealable pack.
Seabrook Crisps took the decision to build an International sales business in October 2015, however it took 6 months to develop packaging to extend the shelf life from 4 months to 9 months. From there International sales have consistently grown with good repeat business and a solid pipeline of new business wins.
